Birthday Flowers

My last card for tonight is entered into two challenges. #1 Etsy inspired (stacked flowers) and #2 Stamp TV's Thurs. sketch. Paper and brads are from JoAnn's, silk flowers are from Wal Mart. I used my scalloped punch to make the backs for the flower clips. Enjoy, Janet

Blue and White Birthday

My first card tonight is entered into 3 different challenges. #1 Simple Doodles challenge to use a heart and a Simple Doodles digi image, # 2 Daring Cardmakers challenge to have at least one hole in your card and #3 Stamp Something color challenge to make a blue and white card. This was a easy card to make and I think it turned out really nice. I used one of the embossed sheets I received in a swap on my Just Cards group, cut a hole in the center with my new nestibilities, colored my digi image and cut it out and glued it to the middle of my base card. Attached the embossed piece on top, added a blue ribbon and a shinny blue heart using pop dots. Great Birthday card for a child or a cat lover. Thanks for stopping by, Janet

Gingerbread angel

Only one new card tonight. Busy sewing and reading today. This is my entry in the Whimsiedoodles Wed. challenge to use a window in my card. I used the Whimsie Ginger Angel digi stamp (cutting off the tree ornament and adding a heart) made two images cutting out the face part, coloring both images and using pop dots to put the part image on top of the whole image. I used my large circle punch to make the window adding more hearts and ribbon to complete the card. Will make a great Valentine card for one of my grandchildren. Enjoy, Janet

Foxey

This card is for the Stamping Sisters in Christ challenge to make something broken look fixed and for the Sweet Shop sketch challenge. I used a computer printed image of a fox and cut it into pieces then glue it onto dark cardstock in a layered brick pattern. All papers came from JoAnn's, the swirl stamp is from the Angel Co, silk flowers and brads are from Wal Mart.

Happy Birthday in Garnet

My first card for tonight is entered in two challenges. The Daring Cardmakers challenge to use the January birthstone Garnet in the card and the sketch challenge on Card Patterns. I used papers, buttons and ribbon from JoAnn's, a $ stamp from Micheals, my nestibilities and pop dots to make this card. I really like the simplicity of the sketch and enjoyed making this one, thanks for stopping by, Janet

Fun Snack mix

Here is my first recipe card for this year. The paper is from JoAnn's, I punched the circles with my scalloped punch the recipe is computer printed and the edges are trimed with my Creative Memories corner punch. I used black Memento ink to ink the edges. I made 8 of these for a swap group I belong to and for part of a Christmas present. Enjoy, Janet

Celebrate in Orange and Black

My second card is also for one of my group swaps and enters into 2 different challenges. Challenge #1 is to use something round for the 2Red Bannana's , challenge # 2 is a sketch challenge on The Little Paper Shop. This is another Birthday card and I also used the speckling tech. with black ink on this card. The print paper is from JoAnn's, the ribbon and jewels are from Micheal's, I used my circle punch and the cuttlebug embossing folder for the orange half circle and stamped Celebrate with black Memento ink to finish off the card. Thanks for looking, Janet

Celebrate in Blue

I am back from my short vacation and pretty much over my virus. Sure am glad to get back to feeling well enough to work on my cards and other things around the house. This card is the first one for a swap on one of my groups and also fullfills the requirements for 3 challenges. Challenge # 1 is to make a Birthday card for the Crazy 4 Challenges group. So here is a nice card for one of the men in my life. Challenge # 2 is the Card Positioning sketch challenge and Challenge #3 is to use embossing on AiFactory. My base card is a gray mottled card stock from Office Depot, the 3 pieces of print are from an old calendar, the center pieces is white cardstock, inked in blue and sprayed with simple green to make a speckled effect. I then cut the paper with my nestibilities, embossed it with my cuttlebug embossing folder and stamped and embossed the messages with green embossing powder. Hope you enjoy my card, Janet
