Birthday in Blue

This is my third card and it is entered in the Stamp TV sketch challenge. Again I used my hand made background paper for the focal point of the card which I put onto the card with pop dots. I cut it out using one of my nestibilities, my light blue mat is embossed using one of the cuttlebug embossing folders and I used a piece of ribbon for the horizontal part of the sketch. I used the words Happy Birthday from a scrap piece of print paper for the finishing touch. Thanks for looking, Janet

Just shapes and colors

I used the Paper Craft sketch challenge for this card. I cut my background paper with my circle punch and with my nestibilities. I used ribbon and a get well saying from The Angel Company. Thanks for stopping by, Janet

Hearts and Flowers

My three cards tonight are for a swap on one of my groups. All of them use a back ground tech. of hair mousse and re-inkers. Can't find the directions right now but you use Mousse and reinkers on a piece of foil or wax paper ( I put it on one side then folded the foil in half to make a different pattern) you then put your cardstock piece into the colored mousse, lift it off and let it dry. Mine didn't dry as fast as I wanted so I sprinkled on some clear embossing powder and heat set it. Turned out pretty good. When I do this again I will use less ink so it doesn't blob up on me.
Now for this card it is in two card challenges, #1 Card positioning systems sketch challenge and # 2 the Daring card makers challenge to use something with a point. I used verse mark to stamp hearts with arrows through them, a strip of my background paper, silk flowers with jewel centers. Enjoy, Janet

Birthday butterflies

My last card for tonight is entered in the Stamp TV Wed. color challenge. We had to use the colors found in a fall forest scene. Differents shades of oranges with a touch of green and blue. I used butterfly paper from a theme mat pack from JoAnn's, scrap cardstock, ribbon my newest EK Success border punch and my cuttlebug embossing folder. Enjoy, Janet

A little bird

My first card tonight is for Digi Kitty and Mercy's Tues. sketch challenge. For Digi Kitty I used one of their digi stamps and made a demensional card. The center image is put on with pop dots to add demension. I used my cuttlebug embossing folder on the main mat, my EK Success edge punch, gel pens, a computer made verse and a scrap piece of butterfly paper from JoAnn's. I hope you enjoy my creation, Janet
