In The True Man

Last card for now, this is for the PaperPlanet Wed. color challenge and the Stamp TV Thursday sketch challenge. I used 5 of the challenge colors: close to coco, carmel, gold, real red, & white. The cardstock is from JoAnn's, I used versa mark and gold embossing powder for the verse (cloud 9 designs bought at JoAnn's) The bottom strip was cut using my new Martha Steward border punch. This is for a man's birthday or for a thinking of you card to a man. Happy crafting, catch you all later when I have more cards to show, Janet

This is a try at something different. I use a digi stamp from Digi Kitty and colored the image with my handy coloring pencils. I then cut it out, did some torn paper at the bottom and then covered the card with clear glue and sprinkled on white glitter. Not sure if I like it or not. What do you think? It seems a little bland to me. My husband says it looks like it is snowing but I didn't get the impression he though it was very good. I am going to work on something else using this image since I think this snowman is really cute. I just figured you all should see my experments along with the others I make. Have a great day, Janet

I used my EK Success border punch, card stock and pattern paper from JoAnn's and Micheal's. It was fun trying out some different colors. Have a great day, Janet
