Up, Up, & Away

This is my card for the Stamp TV sketch challenge. I used the air balloon digi stamp from Simple Doodles that will be released on the 10th. This makes a really cute birthday card. I used sparkly print paper from a mat stack I bought at JoAnn's, gel pens, colored pencils, my cuttlebug embossing folder, Creative Memories corner punch, self stick jewels and verse from Micheal's to make this card. Happy crafting, Janet

Flying High

Here is my entry in the Midnight Madness sketch challenge. We needed to use the sketch and make a Christmas card with something that fly's. Because I wanted to use one of the new Simple Doodles images I chose to use Rudolf the Red nosed reindeer for my something that fly's.
I sanded my base cardstock and tore the next layer to give it an antique look. Also inked the striped layer for the same reason. The moon was punched with my marvy scalloped punch and the cloud was had cut then covered with glitter. Rudolf was colored with my essential pens, colored pencils and gel pens and attached with pop dots. Tiny sparkly gems were added to the top and bottom of the striped paper. Hope you like my card, Janet

Merry Christmas in White

This is my entry in Stamping Sue's daring weekly challenge. We were to make a white card for Christmas. Very hard to get a good scan, I am going to have to start using my camera for some of my cards. Will dig it out for use next time. The black you see behind the card was put there to make the card show up better. Didn't work very well :(. I used white base cardstock, mat of wall paper, snowflake embossed white cardstock, heat embossed Merry Christmas on tag, pop dotted it to card, put glue around edge of tag and sprinkled with white glitter. It looks a lot better in person ladies. Hope you have a great night, Janet

Love is in the Air

Here is my swap card for the Stampers Corner red and teal Dec. mingle. I used an image and a verse from the soon to be released Simple Doodles digi group, two oval cutouts made with my nestibilities and some pop dots to make my card. Another simple card that can be used for an anniversary or birthday. Enjoy, Janet

Sun

Here is another of the Simple Doodles new images that will come out later this month. I colored the image with my essentials pens and pop dotted them on to the front of the card. This is a very simple but bright card to cheer up anyones day. The paper the verse is printed on was colored with the pens also. I am useing this for one of my swap group sketch challenges. Happy crafting, Janet

Feel Better

Here is my one and only card for tonight. Been shopping with my friend today and then had Bell Choir practice. So I am tired and don't feel like creating. This is one of the new Simple Doodles digi images. I used paint chips, stazon black ink and some ribbon to make the card. The images are colored with the new Craft Essentials pens I bought at JoAnn's today. It is going to take some practice for me to learn how to use the pens. I used my 40% off coupon and bought the large box so I have lots of colors to work with. Will try more tomorrow. I am going to relax and read a little before going to be. Had a great time shopping, found a new little scrapbook store I didn't know about, ate lunch at Olive Gardens and hit 6 different second hand or consignment stores. Love shopping in them. Never know what you will find :) Catch everyone tomorrow, Janet

Orchid posy

This is my entry in the Just Cards week 6 color game. I used 4 of the 5 colors we had to choose from: chestnut, forest green, scarlet & orchid (3 different shades of orchid). I did not manage to use sea green. The base card was sanded to add a little character, the brown is embossed with the cuttlebug birthday embossing folder and matted on the scarlet. I fastened a ribbon along the botton and put my Simple Doodles flower at the top of the card. Happy crafting, Janet

Soaring High

This is my Mercy's Tues. sketch challenge entry. The paper is from JoAnn's, I used my marvy circle punches and Martha Steward edge punch to make this card. The image (air balloon) and the verse are both from Simple Doodles and will be released soon. I colored the image with pencils and gel pens. This card will also go into a set of Birthday cards for a Christmas present. Enjoy, Janet

My Pal

This is my entry in the AiFactory challenge. We needed to use digi paper for this card. I didn't have any digi paper from AiFactory so I used digi's from Cute Daisy May. I thought these two papers went very well with the digi. I colored it with colored pencils and a gel pen. This card will go into a set for a Christmas present and is a birthday card for a boy. Enjoy, Janet

Make a Wish

This is my entry in the Midnight Madness sketch challenge. I have used two of the new Simple Doodles digi images. I love the new little cat image, it is called Precious gift and will be for sale soon. The verse is also a new digi. I used papers from JoAnn's, my cuttlebug embossing folder, a tree paper punch, gel pens, butterfly stamp, embossing powder and colored pencils to make this card. I sanded the embossed cardstock to make the dots stand out and matted it on white. Happy crafting, Janet

Celebrate the Season

This is my entry in Stamp TV's color challenge. (Green, Red, Gold and a neutral) I used card stock from JoAnn's, gold from a recycled card for the mat, to digi images from Simple Doodles. Did a little gold gel pen and clear embossing on the snowflake and used gold gel pen around the center image. The green cardstock was embossed with the cuttlebug snowflake embosssing folder and then sanded so the white core shows through. Thanks for checking it out, Janet

Merry Christmas

This is my entry in Squigglefly's challenge. It is a round card with untraditional colors. Had a hard time figuring this one out. Hope you like it. I used a new snowflake digi stamp from Simple Doodles as the main image. The side pieces are punched out with my marvy punch and small images were stamped in each opening. Enjoy, Janet

Snowman out the window

This is a Digi Kitty image that I used earlier and didn't like the results very well. I have used a sketch from the Paper Craft Planet and made it a completly different looking card. This can either be a Christmas card of a winter Birthday or Thinking of you card. What every you wish. Very versital design. Thanks for taking a look, Janet

This card covers 3 different challenges:

You're Special

This is my entry in the Stamping Sue challenge. We had to make a card using something that started with the first letter of our name. The big challenge was to use three different things. I came up with Jacks, Jokers, and Jewels. J was a hard one to figure something out to use. Anyway I figured this would work great for a Birthday card for anyone who enjoys playing cards. Enjoy Janet
