Just shapes and colors

I used the Paper Craft sketch challenge for this card. I cut my background paper with my circle punch and with my nestibilities. I used ribbon and a get well saying from The Angel Company. Thanks for stopping by, Janet

Hearts and Flowers

My three cards tonight are for a swap on one of my groups. All of them use a back ground tech. of hair mousse and re-inkers. Can't find the directions right now but you use Mousse and reinkers on a piece of foil or wax paper ( I put it on one side then folded the foil in half to make a different pattern) you then put your cardstock piece into the colored mousse, lift it off and let it dry. Mine didn't dry as fast as I wanted so I sprinkled on some clear embossing powder and heat set it. Turned out pretty good. When I do this again I will use less ink so it doesn't blob up on me.
Now for this card it is in two card challenges, #1 Card positioning systems sketch challenge and # 2 the Daring card makers challenge to use something with a point. I used verse mark to stamp hearts with arrows through them, a strip of my background paper, silk flowers with jewel centers. Enjoy, Janet

Birthday butterflies

My last card for tonight is entered in the Stamp TV Wed. color challenge. We had to use the colors found in a fall forest scene. Differents shades of oranges with a touch of green and blue. I used butterfly paper from a theme mat pack from JoAnn's, scrap cardstock, ribbon my newest EK Success border punch and my cuttlebug embossing folder. Enjoy, Janet

A little bird

My first card tonight is for Digi Kitty and Mercy's Tues. sketch challenge. For Digi Kitty I used one of their digi stamps and made a demensional card. The center image is put on with pop dots to add demension. I used my cuttlebug embossing folder on the main mat, my EK Success edge punch, gel pens, a computer made verse and a scrap piece of butterfly paper from JoAnn's. I hope you enjoy my creation, Janet

Hang in There

This card is for two different challenges, #1 is the AiFactory challenge to use 5 embelishments (ribbon and 4 flower stickers) and the Crazy 4 challenges design a pink card challenge. I used papers from JoAnn's, two different paint chips, my new edge punch from EK Success, my cuttlebug embossing folder and a stamp I picked up at a yard sale a few years ago. Hope you enjoy my card. It is good to be back home. I hope everyone who wants into my January blog candy contest has let me know. I would hate to have you miss out on the fun. Janet

This is my entry in the Whimsie Birthday card challenge. I used the Save the Earth cupcake digi and made it into a birthday card. Papers are from JoAnn's and the cuttlebug embossed paper is from a swap on Just cards. Enjoy, Janet

Party time

Here is my second card made from my Just Cards swap kit. It is also the MOJO Monday sketch. I added 2 extra pieces of cardstock to the materials I received in my swap. First one is the blue background mat that is stamped in the swirly pattern from the Angle Co. I also used my Ek Success border punch to make a decorative edge on the card. I matted the green pattern paper with some of my own cream wall paper. The ribbon, reddish print and the image were part of the card kit. I used my coloring pencils on the image and put her on with pop dots. The oval was cut using my nestibilities. Thanks for stopping by, Janet

Famlies are Forever

This card is my entry in the Sweet Shop sketch challenge and also my first card made from the card kit I received from Meg in my Just Cards swap group. We exchanged card kits and then have to make at least two cards using the things we received. I used one of my flower stamps on the white card stock Meg sent and then put the rest of the card together with the items I received. Hope you all enjoy my efforts, Janet

Celebrate hearts

This card is entered into the Etsyinspired challenge and the Card Postioning Systems sketch challenge. For the Etsy challenge I went with the turquoise colors in the soaps, I used paint chips and pearl look hearts and my Ek Success border punch to make the card. Celebrate is stamped with Stazon ink and a birthday verse is on the inside. Enjoy, Janet

Home

Tonight we start with my Paper Craft Planet sketch entry and the Stamping Sisters in Christ challenge to use Home in your card theme. My papers are from JoAnn's, I used the nestibilities to cut the main image, the verse is from a book of verses I bought at a yard sale, ribbon, star and glitter glue are from Micheal's. Thanks for stopping by, Janet

Mum's for You

This card is also entered in two challenges. #1 is for Stamp TV's monocromatic challenge, #2 is for Mercy's Tues sketch challenge. I used embossed papers from a swap exchange we had on my Just Cards swap group and a recycled front from an old Birthday card. I used my nestibilitie to cut the top two shapes. I added pink ribbon for accents. Thanks for stopping by, Janet

Grow Old Along with Me

First card for tonight is entered into the Paper Craft Planet color challenge(white/ivory, bashful blue, ruby red, creamy carmal) and into the Taylored Expresions sketch challenge. I used a verse from an old love poem book I bought at a second hand store, foam stars from $ store and assorted papers I had in my stash. This will be an anniversary card when I get the inside verse picked out. Enjoy, Janet
